Okay, the facts. Sunday, Nov. 1, 8:00 PM The Makeout Room. I know, it’s sunday and all that, but it’s early and life is short! It’s a whole new show, new songs, new arrangements and it’s gonna be a lot of fun, I GUARANTEE!!

And…after us is the great Brittany Shane. She is a star in the making, is all over KFOG and the is heard on TV shows. She is doing this gig as a favor to me, bringing in her stellar band from Marin. She sold out the DuNord a month ago, and this is her last show before her winter tour,

And more….the topper of the evening is Vandella, a new band that sounds like an old band. They are both fun and atmospheric, Americana and pop all sang and played beautifully.

Okay, maybe I’m not good enough for this bill, but hey, they are my friends and are tossing me favor.

Me and Gayle start AT 8:00. I wanna get this one in on time as much as I possibly can. We play for 45 minutes. Please come down and have a laugh and a and a dance with us!

You got me and Maurice and Gayle and Denise. We’re playing brand new songs and old favorites, playing on each others tunes, singing harmony and the whole bit. Mike Anderson is playing that big bass of his. You are enjoying a glass of wine, a pint of beer, perhaps a can of red bull (ok, maybe not), sitting in the comfortable Parisian atmosphere of the Cafe Royale. It’s Greenwich Village, 1962, Laurel Canyon, 1971….no….it’s San Francisco 2009.
